The way to legislate laws are various. The methods fall into two major groups of “Integration method” and “Build-up method” and Japanese government adopts the former. As indicated in a column about legislation by the House of Councilors (Japanese Only), in amending laws, the contents of provisions in an amendment law integrate into the amended law.
