Yesterday (January 29, 2015), we attended a public program in Local Autonomy College in Tachikawa.
The speaker was Mr. Hiwatashi, a former mayor of Takeo City in Saga and the theme of the lecture was “常識をくつがえすまちづくり” (meaning community renovation beyond common sense).
When he was a mayor, he adopted FaceBook as HP of the city and had TUTAYA manage the city library. His innovative administration was broadcast.
In these news, the case about an active lesson was introduced where tablet was adopted in schools and students can learn anytime and anywhere.
CONPHIC Co., Ltd. watched a movie about the case of Takeo City and their lessons when we attended lab.c-learning. The program was very informative about the background to the implementation and the effort in Takeo City.
