Systems Development Corporation in Tachikawa, Tokyo CONPHIC Co., Ltd.

Thank you for visiting our blog.

When our customers consult us about e-portfolio systems, they often say that they do not understand correctly how to make good use even if they adopt some systems.

Before we develop e-portfolio systems, we ask diploma policy (policy for conferment of degree) and competency plan (action plan for good results) of each university and each university makes evaluation criteria and ideals.
After this step, we start systematization.

As a evaluation method, Rubric is often used.
Rubric clearly shows attainment of the students with a table to evaluate the students’ qualities not to give the traditional grade points.

We have some types of basic e-portfolio systems jointly offered with EMIT Japan Corporation. Recently Matrix (Rublic) type of e-portfolio systems are most adopted.

In this type of e-portfolio, the vertical axis of Matrix table is evaluation criteria and the horizontal axis is a level. subjects are given to every pair of evaluation criteria and level.
This Matrix table clearly shows the progress of the students’ learning, the level of the students and the next target of the students’ learning.

We can give you a demonstration of this system.
