CONPHIC Co., Ltd. develops the systems and the tools to support drafting (legislation) work of laws and ordinances.
Each law usually has its own title, but some old laws and ordinances do not have the titles.
The laws were specified with the law number like “Law No. XX of (year)” but it is not possible to find the contents with this description, so the outline of the contents was descibed in the promulgation sentence like “regarding XX”.
Thre are still a lot of the effective laws and ordinances remained:
Dajokan Fukoku No. 65 of 1873 (Drawings of Equipments for Execution by Hanging)
Imperial Ordinance No. 188 of 1928 (Dairai Kinen Sho)
and so on.
These ordinances are released in e-Gov of Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. We cannot know the contents only by its ordinance number, so the outlines of the contents are given in parentheses.
Recently the title is generally given to each law and there are a lot of laws and ordinances which have an abbreviated title.
・民間事業者等が行う書面の保存等における情報通信の技術の利用に関する法律
abbreviated title → “ｅ－文書法”
・酒に酔つて公衆に迷惑をかける行為の防止等に関する法律
abbreviated title → “トラ退治法”
There are cases where the law without the title has an abbreviated title.
・昭和二十二年法律第五十四号（私的独占の禁止及び公正取引の確保に関する法律）
abbreviated title → “独禁法”
These abbreviated titles are released in e-Gov of Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. Please visit there if you are interested in it.
